Job role: Pertemps Team Leader

Based: Remote at present, moving into offices at some point during 2021

Reporting To: Account Manager

Salary: £30,000 per annum + KPI Bonus

The Main Purpose of the Job:

  • Is to supervise, inspire and motivate a team of staff to provide the highest measured standard of customer service within a welcoming, dynamic, challenging and commercially competitive environment.
  • Provide structure through support and planning to staff, to ensure the placement and payment of temporary and permanent workers is seamless.
  • Will be to manage all aspects of the recruitment service on behalf of our client.
  • Will be to plan and prioritise all recruitment campaigns, using effective time management tools to ensure each stage of the recruitment process is delivered within agreed SLA's and timeframes.
  • Is to manage advertising to increase candidate attraction and build a diverse talent pool.
    Will include gathering market intel by investigating local skills shortages and implementing strategies to recruit talent.
  • Is to promote and liaise the service to maximise new business and sustain existing stakeholder relationships.
  • Will be to provide a solutions-based approach to overcome challenges.
  • Will be to develop, build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Core Skills and Experience

The Team Leader will:

  • Ideally possess knowledge and experience within a recruitment capacity.
  • Possess the required skills to deliver a high-quality service within an ever-changing environment.
  • Be able to manage conflicting priorities for themselves and their team and have a hands-on approach to ensure deadlines are adhered to.
  • Require strong interpersonal skills and will have experience of managing, coaching and developing a team.
  • Be proficient in using Microsoft packages, i.e. Excel, PowerPoint good use of social media sites.
  • Be self-motivated and be able to work on their own initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal command of English


The team leader will possess:

  • GCSE or equivalent - English, Maths (C+ Desirable)
